As part of his work as a brand ambassador for the international fine arts company Liquitex in Spain, Javier Torices led an exclusive masterclass at the iconic Jeco Bellas Artes shop, a historic landmark for the artistic community in Madrid’s vibrant Chueca district. The session featured the collaboration of Miguel Torrus, the brand’s resident artist at the time, in a gathering tailored to explore the full capabilities of contemporary acrylic technology.

Structured into two practical workshops with strong attendance from both professionals and art enthusiasts, the event served as a platform to demonstrate the technical response, versatility, and pigmentation of the brand’s media. Through live technical demonstrations, both artists shared their creative workflows, focusing on key aspects such as glaze application, medium fluidity, and color behavior across various surfaces, establishing the session as a benchmark for technical education and artistic exchange.
