This monumental large-scale work (600 x 200 cm) represents one of the most ambitious pieces of my career, conceived as the centerpiece of the exhibition Origen at the Casa de Vacas in El Retiro Park. Composed of three 200 x 200 cm panels assembled with custom hardware, the composition aims to completely immerse the viewer in the immensity of the Cantabrian Sea. By dispensing with the horizon, I direct the attention toward the modeling of the waves, the physical force of the undertow, and the continuous labyrinth of foam folding over the body of water. A large-scale work designed to convey an immersive, physical, and monumental experience of untamed nature.
