Inspired by the vastness of Cádiz’s Atlantic beaches, Matter of Light and Salt pays homage to the exact moment when the swell embraces the shore.

The artwork emerges from a direct dialogue between the southern light and the untamed force of the Atlantic. Set within a large-scale panoramic format, the canvas captures the living dynamism of the sea: the energy suspended in every spray, the crackle of the foam, and the contained thunder of the breaking wave.

At its core lies the vivid transparency of the water’s mass—a prism where emerald greens and turquoises filter the Cádiz sunlight before dissolving onto the wet sand.
