Although the composition may suggest that I am floating in the middle of the lagoon, this work is viewed from the perspective of one of its piers. Standing on that boundary between land and water, I direct my gaze toward the waves in the foreground, capturing their vibrant density and the constant glimmer of sunlight on the surface. In the background, the iconic silhouette of Santa Maria della Salute and the outline of the historic city stand out against a serene sky, creating a dialogue between timeless architecture and the vibrant essence of Venetian water.
